Dr. Bernd Malmström

Dr. Bernd Malmström wurde im Dezember 2005 zum Mitglied des Supervisory Board des Unternehmens. Am 26. Semptember 2006 wurde er zum Chairman des Supervisory Board von IFCO gewählt. Herr Dr. Malmström wurde zunächst über einen Zeitraum von vier (4) Jahren ernannt und am 27. März 2009 erneut für vier (4) Jahre eingesetzt. In Verbindung mit der Einführung einer einstufigen Board-Struktur legte Herr Dr. Malmström sein Amt als Mitglied des Supervisory Board am 25. Mai 2011 nieder. Am 26. Mai 2011 wurde Herr Dr. Malmström als Non-executive Member und Chairman des Board of Directors für vier (4) Jahre eingesetzt. Herr Dr. Malmström studierte Jura an den Universitäten Kiel und Freiburg und promovierte in diesem Fach. Herr Dr. Malmström ist als Rechtsanwalt tätig. Zuvor arbeitete er in verschiedenen Management Positionen, unter anderem bei der Deutschen Bahn AG, Stinnes AG, der Schenker-Rhenus-Group und VBA AG. Herr Dr. Malmström ist auch in den folgenden Unternehmen als Mitglied der Geschäftsführung tätig: BLG Logistics Group AG & Co. KG (Advisory Board), Deutsche Afrika-Linien GmbH & Co. KG (Advisory Board), time:matters GmbH (Chairman of the Advisory Board), HHLA Intermodal GmbH (Supervisory Board), K+S AG (Supervisory Board), VTG AG (Supervisory Board), Lehnkering GmbH (Chairman of the Supervisory Board) and Schweizer Bundesbahn SBB AG (Board of Administration).
